Macon County FFA is going to Costa Rica in the Summer of 2025, and you’re invited! This trip is open to current 8th-grade students through seniors at RBS and MCHS. Students do not have to be a member of FFA or enrolled in an agriculture course to attend!

When: Sat., December 2, 2023 Where: Donoho Hotel Time:8:00 A.M.
Adult (ages 13+) $14, Child (ages 4-12) $7, Child (ages 1-3) free w/ adult purchase
Reservations are required for breakfast. Please send cash or check to RBS Service Learning. We will place you on the list and you will check in when you arrive. Please list the names of those who will be attending. Price will include breakfast, children can make their own reindeer food, and Christmas story time.
Professional pictures with Santa will also be available that day with Miss Julie’s Photography. 3-5 digital pictures $25 per setting. Each additional setting will be an additional $5. You will receive digital photos in 10-14 days. You will pay for the pictures that day. Cash or check accepted.

RBSHS Service Learning Feeding Families for Thanksgiving Program.
Each year our RBSHS service-learning students try and help feed families that may be on hard times during the Thanksgiving holiday. If you know of a student and their family that could benefit from this program please fill out the Service Learning Thanksgiving Application on the link below. All applications are due by November 6, 2023. Please note we have limited spots for these Thanksgiving meals.

Tech After Dark is an excellent event with special sneak peeks at labs, demonstrations, and other locations not typically seen on the regular campus tour.

Parents,
On Friday, September 22nd, some of the teachers at RBS 6-12 will be leaving at 1:00 to attend the funeral of Mr. and Mrs. Jones' son. Students will be placed with the remaining teachers for the rest of the school day. If you want to sign your child out of school, you may do so after 1:00. Students who drive will need a signed parent note giving them permission to leave school at 1:00. Students who do not drive may only leave with a parent/guardian or person on file at school to pick them up, or they may leave with a sibling who drives if they have a parent signed permission note.
